They are DCS Inc., a collection agency out of California. They have been calling us for about a month now wanting to collect on "past-due taxes" that we don't owe. Tried to talking to them, saying the income was earned AND paid to State of Oklahoma; not due to the Commonwealth of Virginia. We told them we disputed their claim; their response was "We're proceeding anyway." I say go ahead; the claim was paid A LONG TIME AGO, so long ago that Oklahoma doesn't even have the information anymore.
Has been calling every night for 10 days. I hear only dead air when I pick up. They don't leave a voicemail. If it were a debt collection agency, they would ask for a person by name. When I returned the call, the person only said, "Hello', and refused to identify herself or the company. The rep. from the Do Not Call Registry with the FCC said they can't help unless I can identify who is calling me...isn't that THEIR job?
