CRAIGSLIST SCAM.........I am going to put in my dealings with this guy!! He changed his name to David Williams, said he was in an accident and could not pick up the piece of furniture he wanted to purchase from me off Craigslist. First he was going to do a moneygram....I called the moneygram business and covered my tracks....when I told him I was only required to give my name...He changed the purchase to check, I then told him I do not deposit checks to my account and asked the name of his Bank...I called them and explained the situation....THEN, he texted back and said he was sending a check for a $1,000 over the purchase price!! I told him no way .... he wanted me to pay the movers to pick up the furniture. said he owed them money and I said no. So he up'd the payment to me over $100 my asking price. because he wanted me to send the remaining money to the movers via a moneygram!! OMG! I told him no way was I going to handle that amount of money NOR would I run his errands for him.....Transaction was over!! By the way HE NEVER ANSWERS THE PHONE
Craigslist scam This guy Peter Cole "fake name" This guy says text me if still available so I text him. Say yes its available. Then at 4:10 AM my iPhone turns on I look no message no calls "weird" I go back to bed. Then my phone says tranaction cost $2.05 "Weirder" The next day Peter Cole texts me back wanting to buy the item, and states thanks for the info??????? Then a few moments later my phone says transaction cost $2.85. My plan is $.05, but again no text no calls. Next time I look at my phone all my information is gone from my NOTES. Twelve pages of notes. You cant just delete them by accident. All my other info was gone.I looked this up How can someone steel your infomation from a text message with no trace. Its called a "MIDNIGHT RAID" They use an APP to send a SMS that turns on your WiFi and sends their phone all your info. My plan only has TEXT and CALL no internet. Look out people nothing is safe. I spent the night changing pass words for my Bank accounts,Mail,and all my other stuff Paypal. I caught it in time I think so far no transactions from my accounts
