I answered and the lady asked for * and asked if an address was mine or a previous one. I told her I did not know her nor would I give out my information. She tried to assure me that she was not asking me for information she just wanted me to answer if that was my current or past address. I again told her I would not answer any personal questions since I did not know who she was. She said then unfortunately I cannot pursue this conversation, and she would update my information.
Received a call from this number. They left a message for me to call back top 877-236-5791. Said they were a debt collector. When I called the number is it asked if I was blank, which is not me. Is this number s scam?
I have had several calls from this number but make it a habit NOT to answer calls that are not familiar numbers. Finally, I decided to answer and it was a debt collector robo call asking me to call another number to reply. We do not have any bills that are in "debt collection" so I knew it was a scam.
