I called it back, the person is so STUPID he can not ever get to his voice mail, it is full. Everyone complain to the do not call list, file a complaint. This phone number comes from San Antonia Texas. Call the Police department in that city, enough complaints and maybe they will do something.
The problem is far reaching and many years old. I've seen complaints on other sites that go back to 2007!
The "Card Services" or "Card Holders" identification at the beginning of the recorded message is obviously a fictitious DBA that isn't registered to any legit business in ANY state.
The numbers that appear on your caller ID are also randomized, They're being channeled through a sophisticated phone-line rotary system. Hence they can't be traced. Reporting them is a waste of time - even if they get 7 complaints like an earlier post suggested, it won't stick because of the way these calls are generated.
Of course this is all an effort to SCAM innocent people out of their credit card info. But the real irritation after you realize it's a Scam, is having to keep getting these annoying calls.
Unfortunately, since the caller ID numbers all link back to a number whose "MAIL BOX IS FULL" there is no way to remedy this disturbance. I've tried to ignore the calls, and even block the numbers, but they use so many different numbers, even his tactic has become futile.
I asked the name of their company when they called. "Stephanie" said it was "Account Services". I asked their address. She refused to give it to me and hung up on me. I called the number back and someone answered but didn't say anything. I called back again. No answer...this time it went to a Sprint voicemail (623) 210-2846. I'm tempted to call in the middle of the night every few nights for the next month. lol
annoying phone calls.
since we have caller id i don't answer but
they never stop calling. i also blocked the
number but as someone pointed out they
use another cell phone to call.
