The caller said he was from Microsoft and wanted to help with error messages. Wanted us to sit at the computer while he provided 'technical assistance'.
I've even moved from Cold Lake, Alberta, to Winnipeg, Manitoba and now to Ottawa Ontario...I've been recieving this number for years and years... at least 10...and every operator I've talked to says they can't do anything about it...it sucks!! the number doesn't exist in any european or american data base either... I answer finally after about the 5th call in a day all set to scream and like others...its either dead on the other end, or they hang up or you hear the horn of a cruise ship...I hang up...if I find a way to catch them or report them...I will message back here to let the rest of you know.
They told me my name and address and then asked me for my insurance information so they could have my medication delivered to my house. It could be a scary situation for some people if you really think about it. I hope someone finds out who is doing this to stop it. I'm an older women on disablity, I can't afford my med's now.
i agree, and i'm in canada as well, they have done that to me too, 1 or twice at 4 and 5 am and then 3 times during the afternoon (monday wendnesdays and fridays of the last 2 weeks)
i had located the website they use, but now i can't seem to find it *sigh*
dosn't make sense for, or even profitable for an american company to call people in canada
