They just called and asked for wife and said they r from Windows and there's a security problem with my wife's email account,they detected it yesterday.well I told him my wife passed away last Nov.
Then they said that someone else was using her computer.
I told him its a scam and hung up
I received a call from this number today. It said Builders Square on caller ID. I answered because I thought it was a wrong number. It was some guy from Jamaca. His accent was heavy so I told him I couldn't understand him, he switched phones. He told me he was from Windows and something about my info on the Internnet going to his site and how it would automatically send info back that would ruin my computer, shutting it down. I told him I call Windows myself and hung up. Then I called my husband at his place of work with DTE. He checked the number and it is a fraudulent number that has red letter warnings about it. So, FYI.
Just got a call from the above number today...caller ID said: TEXAS. Five rings, then a hangup. I get several calls a day from different Unknown sources. No messages are ever left.....Caller ID is the best invention sinced sliced bread(LOL). I am on the "do not call" list. Yeah...that works(NOT)!
