I received a call from this number soliciting for credit card consolidation and the only option was to press 1 to speak with someone. When the guy who answered the phone asked me for my info I asked him "How do I opt out of these phone calls" I was polite to him when asking. His response "Ya if you don't want the phone calls permanently disconnect your phone" What an A**hole.
You cannot stop them because they are illegal callers. Criminals by definition won't obey the law. The Do Not Call List was created for law-abiding companies. Obviously, these people are NOT law-abiding citizens, so all the laws in the world will not stop them. Don't expect the Federal Government to stop them either.
Our only recourse is to block them. Panasonic makes affordable telephone systems that allow you to block up to 250 numbers. Google it. There are also computer based telephone systems that will allow to block them and much more.
I was called by a recording concerning lowering my credit card interest and to press one to speak to a friendly customer service representative. I pressed 1 and an unfriendly person answered and hung up on me as soon as they "heard take me off". I believe there should be something that could be done with these type of organizations.
The number calling your house is being used by the drug-addicted "card services" scammers, who call us, pretending to be associated with our credit card companies, in an attempt to fool us into giving them our credit card numbers, so they can rip us off. People that have given their card number to these junkies have suffered severe financial losses. Beware of these lowlifes, and warn others, before they are cheated!l
Would like to report this. For at least 3 years they have been calling and telling me this is my last chance to get a cheaper c.card. Tried to tell them to stop calling and they hung up on me. My phone is for friends and family. What can we do to stop these calls. I'm on the "do not call list" so that's not helping.
Left an ominous-sounding message saying "last chance" to save on some credit card scam. Another site (callercomplaints.com) identified this as a spoofed number.
