I just had a call from this group and it was about surgery that I may had or babies both with I did not have. The man had an Indian accent I told him to take me off the list he hung up on me. I call it back he goes through the spew and I told him to take me off list hung up again. Called back the 3rd time asked for supervisor apologies for the inconvenience. Seems like a scam or selling something.
Oh my. I got a call before and stated that I have asked multiple times not to call. I asked to speak to a supervisor. This Tom Williams who could barely speak English said he was. I said then you know it is illegal to keep calling after I have asked you to stop. He said he would call me every minute of every day so F____ you. I hung up and he immediately called back. I declined the call and them blocked the #. I called police and they said he did nothing criminal. There was nothing they could do. So upsetting.
Another Indian scam call. Claimed to be "John" from the Medical Compensation Dept. When I asked Department of what company he simply started repeating himself. I keep the, on the phone for as long as possible on the theory that at least they aren't scamming someone who will fall for it. It's actually kinda fun playing with them. My final response is simply "yeah right, Achmed. Get a real job."
I've had 15 calls in 2 days. I said I didnt understand the caller and he needed to speak English, he said he was speaking English, I said it is not any kind of English that I can understand, he then got me a supervisor who had even less command of the English language. I did ask how they got my number and name and they said the Texas Department of Health. Doesn't HIPPA prevent this kind of information being distributed? I said I was going to call Texas Department of Health, caller immediately got off the line.
