Got a call from this number today and told me he needed to talk to my attorney.. when I asked what it was in regards to he stated I was facing fraud check deception and some other crap charges. I called back and left a voicemail and told him to serve me papers and I'd see him in court. I work for a sheriff's department so they picked the wrong person this time!!
Your callers are scammers - they can't do zip to you. You already stated you never took out a loan, so calling the check n go place won't help any. Per the FDCPA, you should NOT pay any caller who refuses to MAIL a debt validation letter showing that you owe a debt and that they have the legal right to collect said debt. Refusal to mail this DV letter within five days of their first call is a violation of federal law. Please do report your callers to the FTC and your state's Attorney General.

Follow the steps in what you need to know. A legitimate debt collector agency should not have a problem with giving you a real business name and address you can google and verify via google street view, BBB etc.

Caller from area code 832 saying I was be investigated for fraud. Caller ID identified the call as Litigation Inc. I Google it and found others reported it as well.
i 've gotten several calls from this number. They left messages about a payday loan from 2008. I told him that any information he has is false and that I never took put a payday loan. He siad we will be seeing you in court and he is sending the police to my resident. I said, "Fine, just know that I will be suing Litagaion Services in San Antonio and you." He repeated several times that is your right. Such scammers. I don't owe anyone so i knew it was a scam!
Just got a call from Carl Anderson but this was a GA number 678 394 3316. He left a voice mail stating he was from the litigation dept and that there are pending check fraud charges against me and will be filed in my home county. I tried to call back but got his voice mail. I did not leave him a message but if he calls back I will be asking for proof of the debt and see what happens. I will also report this call
Bogus...they tell you that there is a warrant for you unless you pay them x amount of dollars. When you say that you are near the court house in Texas and they are in Atlanta they get pissed.
