I received a call today from a woman asking for "Trisha" as if it were a casual call to a friend. When I said she had the wrong number, she said "let me verify the number," quoted my number again, and said "So I am speaking to the current owner of the phone?" I asked why she was calling, and when she continued to evade the question, I hung up. If a "Trisha" ever had my number, it wasn't anytime within the last 10 years, and it clearly wasn't a social call. I don't know who this is or why they were calling, but it was definitely fishy. Since my number isn't really "out there," and she didn't know who she was calling by name, it seems whoever it is is just dialing random numbers with the same area code. I certainly wouldn't give them your name or any information.
