also received call from this number with an "officer Brian" about complaints against me and my social security number. I told him he was full of crap and to stop calling me....
I also received a call from this number and they said they were with the federal law authority. They said they kept my SS# and name on hold as well. They first attempted to reach me on my mobile phone and when I did not pick up an officer John Smith, a John Smith with a thick middle eastern accent, left me a message saying he had a case against me and needed to speak with me immediately. Two minutes after calling my mobile "Officer John Smith" called my office number and the receptionist transferred him to me and he gave me a case#, his name "John Smith", and his number. After giving me his information he transferred me to his "Captain" a Justin Prince who repeated the information John Smith gave me and told me he had a federal case against me for Bank fraud for 7,000 dollars, but since I didn't have any priors he could reduce that to 625 dollars. I asked for an address to send a check he said no, he wanted me to put money on a prepaid card and send him the number, so I told him to proceed legally and that's when he started with the threats of having officers pick me up at work and embarrasing me, so I hung up and nothing happened after that, but six months later I get a call sounding like the same group of people with a different number and the same dog and pony show. Some guys with thick middle eastern accents with all-american names wanting me to send them money or they will have officers pick me up at work and still nothing happened.
