The call I got a few weeks ago said they were from the attorney general's office, and the felloww had a foreign accent.  Of course, he quoted my SSN accurately, but I ignored this, since the number was not one from my state.  The email I received had the number-210-401-9881 Ext. 105, and a settlement offer of $455, which was good for today only.  Since I'm self-employed, I hope they can have loads of fun on their pursuit

i recieved a email today saying that they are going to send it to my employer and I will have to pay them a large amount of money, But they would settle for 350.00 if I get back to them within 24hrs. Who are this people.I tolf them if they can tell me who iI owe the money to I would set up a payment plan, But I didnt heard back from them yet.

I received an email from this crook today. He had my social security # and name of a previous employer.   He was threatening to take me to court for $5,500 and would be contacting my employer if I cannot pay a settlement fee of $350 due today.  I'm just wondering how the heck these filthy scammers got my personal info.  I reported them to the FBI, IC3 and blocked their phone# (210) 401-9881.

I received the same emails today (from [email protected] and another from Deep Jackson). Wanted $350 for a  ake payday loan (Like some other above, I've never taken out one, but started the process of applying for one last year although I didn't go through with it in the end).  They had my SSN and threatened to send a letter to my employer. Will report them - thanks for the links Tamianth.
