Hint - don't answer calls you don't recognize. If its important they can leave a message. If they don't, you know it's a scam.
Hint - don't call them back. Just proves to them they have a sucker on the phone who they can continue to call with all sorts of scams.
Want it to stop - find out if your phone or your service provider can block calls. If not, buy an inexpensive call blocker. My Panasonic wireless phone blocks 250 numbers. It can be set to not even ring when it's blocking a call. Only you can solve your problem.
Got a call from San Antonio. Lady said my vehicle warranty had expired and this was my last chance to renew it. I asked for which vehicle and she said, "Unfortunately I can't tell because you have multiple vehicles." I said I only have 1 car, and to tell me what the make and mode was of my car. She said,"that's an excellent question for our specialist, let me transfer you." I said, what company are you with? She hung up immediately.
Knew it was a scam as soon as she started talking about my warranty.
