I've been receiving on-going (continually "upping" the threats) for past three weeks. When I ask for their address and employee number - they hung up. Next call they left message that I would have only 5 days to take care of before lawsuit. Today I received another call saying that documents are being filed for lawsuit. So, I called back and said "I'm tired of all the phone calls - just tell me what I owe" - he responded that it was $2,400.00 - but when I told him to fax me a copy of information/lawsuit papers so that I could pay... there was silence on the other end... which I then (unprofessionally-sorry) said "F.... You - go ahead and file. ITS A SCAM - if the IRS truly wants your money - believe me... they will send you a copy of something in the mail!
Just now, got the same threatening robo call from 224-300-5030. Didn't answer, let VM pick up. States this is a final attempt, that the IRS is filing a lawsuit against me and to call 210-418-5059 to discuss. NOT CALLING.
The reported number is being used by a coward who is playing extortionist games while hiding behind a magicJack in a country that has Internet service but is hostile to US law enforcement.
Pay no attention to calls from this number.

I'm in Texas and for the first time received recorded message that they had been trying to reach me and this is their final notice about IRS fallowing lawsuit against me.
Never heard from them before.
