I also got a phone call like SM mentioned.
I kept asking if anyone is there and they wouldn't answer me. Looks like it's a scam. I blocked the call. Thank you Google Voice!
Rude scam artists called my cell. When I answered there was a pause, then a chirpy little twink said "Hi, my name is Joseph. I'm calling about an online survey you recently completed." I politely asked him to take my number off their calling list and he hung up before I finished the sentence.
Obviously a violation of the "Do not call list", and I'll report it, but nobody seems to care enough to follow up. We need better regulation.
Guy said his name was "Joseph" and I recently did an online survey for like a free ipad or something and that's how he got my number. And that I was applying for a job. None of the above. He is phishing for info.
Someone from WN positions called me as well. Changed his story multiple times. First I completed an onlive survey to find a job, then I filled something out to win an Ipad, then I supposedly had something to do with Wal-mart. This guy was all over the place trying to get anything from me. Obviously a scam of some sort.
I just received a call from the number and they said i did a survey to get a wal mart gift card!! then said i was looking for a job and that he can fill out my profile to get me help to find one. What a loser!! i hope they find this scum and arrest him for identity theft!!
