I'm looking to refinance and filled out form on website LowerMyBills.com. Figure the call is in response to that request. Never heard of them, but nice to see they were bought by Wachovia, which I have heard of.
This is one of many numbers for the mortgage dept at world savings. This can mean that the call can originate from either marketing or customer service. The number is a general call center number for the San Antonio location. I leave this number on caller id when I call home and I work in the Final Documentation Dept. I primarily deal with Title companies, but I may call borrowers if there was an issue with thier mortgage and it has to be resigned. However, I agree marketing can be annoying ;-)
I also received this numbers this afternoon. I just came here for two month, and I absoulately didn't know what the man had talked about. I wanted to tell him that you'd a wrong number, but he still talked and talked. Then he gave me a 'secure number' and told me wrote down it. That's really weird!
Well, that is not totally correct, because I never gave them anything, and they are calling me. I Have an unlisted number, and I Have never even heard of them before now. So, how do you think they got my info? That means your statement does not apply to everyone. I agree with the other poster poor tactics, so you need a different explanation for me!
