Most likely an attempt to trick you into changing services. Assuming you have a credit card processing service, any "mandatory updates" notifications would be coming from the company you use. If in doubt, call your processing company.
I got a voicemail from "Nicki" calling about my company's merchant services account & a necessary update for Visa & Mastercard processing terminals. My company is not a retail company and doesn't take credit cards, so "Nicki" got wished away to the telemarketing cornfield
Automated call at 10:40 PM. Left a vm to contact customer service. Immediate call back reached a vm that "the agent you selected has momentarily stepped away."
