After listening to this automated voicemail telling me that the IRS is filing a lawsuit I tried calling the IRS but became frustrated with their automated menus so I tried the FBI, FTC, and TIGTA. I filed and left information with each of these agencies, and also checked my caller ID and got the number they actually called from and saved the message recording for now. They are elaborate schemes and the more info agencies can get the better chance they might have catching up with them for something. My caller ID for the time they had called said "First Telephone"; go figure.
9:17 a.m. April 23, 2015 received a call from (972) 453-9824 telling me they are the IRS and filing a lawsuit against me. I was told to call (210) 591-7630 immediately. I DID NOT call, am assuming it is a SCAM, figure IRS will contact me through legal channels if they are suing me.
Call routed thru local # (630) 924-9152. Left message saying: "More information about this case file. Please call immediately on our department number 210-591-7630. I repeat 210-591-7630. Thank you." Did not call back, checked # online first.
