the phone call is from discover card.  they have called several times for my son and tonight i told them that i was joint on his account and if they are calling to sell something....i could tell them he is not interested.  he is more interested in paying down the account...i know because i pay his bill and he is conservative and doesn't need credit monitoring etc etc.  the person told me that i could request...thru him (the one that called me...his name was justin) to be removed from the call list.  i specifically repeated that request back to him...he said we might get another call w/in the next 3 days but assured me that it would be removed.  lets us see.  when i google the number....i come up with this website....who know what and who the credit card companies are using for marketing these days.  strange that it was a local area code and number........
