number calls me everyday!!! I answer and no reply. One day a lady in broken English did not introduce herself or what company she was from. She just started asking me for information on my car, then tried to transfer me to someone else. I hung up.

BLOCK THIS NUMBER!!! This is a scam number. They will call you and ask you how many miles are on your car and tell you that you qualify for a trade in.. Then "transfer" you to someone else. They never mention a company they work for and try to get personal information from you... If you ask which auto company they are calling from they just hang up..

Keep getting calls on my work phone. When I answer using my employer's standard greeting there is no answer on the other end.

Called several times -- finally answered and female w/ Indian accent (too many humans, not enough jobs) asked for me -- I informed her she had the wrong number -- she was very confused since I probably matched a cold call list her organization bought from another company that sells good people's data for ransom.  I advise you ignore -- remember, humans that deal in nefarious activities now have the luxury of getting local numbers through VOIP (i.e. MagicJack).  Good human's have become smart enough to not pick up on toll-free numbers -- this is the "enemy's" newest Rule of Engagement to fish us in.

Consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so. If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number. For tracfone & straight talk:

Report your callers here, not just to the DNC alone:

For text messages: forwarding any text message spam you get to the short code  “7726,” which spells “spam” on most phones, to alert your network operator to the abuse. ATT won't accept 7726 But they will accept BLOCK and return a message that the web site is blocked. forward the texts to 7726 or BLOCK, depending on your phone carrier.
