Got a call at my work place. Left me a message to have my lawyer call them but didn't leave a message as to what it was. Never called my cell. Don't know who it is but sounds fishy to me. This # is in Texas and I'm in California. I don't even know anyone in Texas.

Got a call from caller said they are Nancy Blackwell with National Check Litigations and that I had wrote a bad check with the institution and accepted funds fraudelently. I was being prosecuted and detained - no amount was listed as to how much the check was through this institution. I will be detained. Sound like a scam but I am contacting a lawyer.
My husband received a call from this number, Nancy Blackwell, but the company name that I was given when I called back was Financial Crimes Litigation Services. Very similar scenario. They would file court papers if he didn't pay within an unreasonable time frame, wouldn't give any documentation about the debt, but she did have more than enough of his personal information to make him incredibly nervous. We're pulling a credit report tonight to verify that nothing is on his report that shouldn't be there.
