was seconds arfter ... HOW CAN A DISCONNECTED NUMBER CALL YOU AND BE NOT A CORRECT NUMBER ME

This area code originates from San Antonio, Texas which I am familiar with. Been getting several different scams from that same area code. Blocked.
This scam was running a few years ago. I was able to track down the attorney for the company and get my numbers removed from their calling rotation. Now they have started back up and this time they called my mobile phone. This I have friends in San Antonio so I answered. Damn it! Blocked the number but they will call again from a different number
Called ID spoofing. Scammers aren't going to use the numbers they're really calling from, that way, little can be done with dummy numbers. Certainly don't call them back unless you want more worthless junk calls.
