I worked there. They give the sales people lists of customers who have in the past either purchased vehicles from them, or used their service department. The "good news" they have is they are "in desperate need to buy your car from you"...i.e. They are trying to get you to come in with full intentions of selling you a new car. Shady.
Left a message asking for me by name, saying he was calling from Toyota and said if I still owned a Tacoma he had good news for me. He said to call him back and gave a 521 area code number even though the call was from the 210 area code.
