These people keep calling, they never leave a voicemail and are very rude. They are trying to collect on something that is very old and has been taken are of. They will not give any detailed information only say that I owe the amount. When I ask for details they tell me that i "will suffer the outcome" and immediately hang up on me. I have called back to try and get details 2 times they have hung up. The last time a woman said she was going to update notes, but they are still calling.
Received a call from this number today. They asked me to verify my name and birthdate and would not identify themselves or the company they work for. When I pressed for details and a company name they put me on hold. I ended up hanging up after 5 minutes and called them back. They answered, tried again to get my personal info (assuming for identity theft) and hung up on me when I threatened to report them as scammers. I reported the incident to the FTC scanner hotline.
Debt collector or not, how will they ever conduct business by not speaking when a person answers their call. They are just aggravating people. I blocked one number and then they call back from a different San Antonio line. waist of time if their not going to communicate after you answer
They called me. I answered and they hung up. I called back and was put on hold. Eventually April answered but all she would say was that it was a personal matter and would not tell me what the company was, who was calling me, or what the reason was for the call.
