Caller did not leave a message. Will not answer a call from someone I do not know even if it a local number. Scammers can hide the number they are calling from so you will answer. These numbers are blocked.
Asked for me by name. When I told him I "wasn't" home, only said his name was Anthony Something-or-Whatever but did not identify who he was with or why he was calling when asked.
Mom called them back. After prompting the lady did finally said they where with the JC's which is the Junior Chamber of Commerce but it might have been the Houston one using a San Antonio number. She told them not to call again. It's hard dealing with an illness and a-holes calling your house using your area code when you are looking for doctors, labs, and hospital calls that do show up as private numbers or unknown just for HIPPA.
