They did this to me, also with the beep tone. the first time after the machine picked up and it started beeping, I picked up the phone and hung up again after two beeps. Then I got another call, this time from 949 255 4201 and it was the same beep tone again and I let the message finish recording nto see how many beeps it would leave on the machine and it was 12 beeps. For the rest of the day, I'm leaving my phone off the hook.

This is harassment and people who do this should serve had time.
