Yes. The woman claims that she is with Time Warner and for $4.99 a month you can receive EPICS and she can sign you up today. Hung up before she asked for credit card number. Never known Time Warner to call from an ANONYMOUS line.
Time Warner calling as "Anonymous". In this case it is pertinent. I was busy when I saw the caller idea and it was local so I hit redial instead of coming here first,......I've been listening to the "thank you for your patience, all our representatives are busy assisting other callers..." for about 8 minutes now.....hung up a little after 8 minutes. Epix was ok when it was free. Now it's just a repeat of everything we've already seen. And yes it's a scam,...but it actually is Time Warner Cable that's doing the scamming. Anything worth watching these days is being re-channeled and sold for $4.99. That's the scam. I guess if you're a customer then they have a right to call. Blocked 'em anyway.
Hey Time Warner,....you would get a better response from customers if you listed your caller ID as Time Warner. "Anonymous" is very tacky.
