I just recently received a call from this number as well regarding windows on my computer. First a guy and I told him not to call me again. Less than 5 minutes later, I got another call, same partial number. but this time it was a woman and I asked for her supervisors name and number, she gave me this number and said it was Stephanie Johnson. I called back, asked for Stephanie Johnson and low and behold the same woman came on the phone. So I asked for her supervisor again, and she put a guy on the phone, he said his name was David Jones! Ha! He certainly didn't sound like a David Jones nor did she sound like a Stephanie. I am rather familiar with other languages and recognized the accents as most likely from India. 'David' finally admitted that he was indeed outsourced, but could not give me his real name, etc. I finally told them not to call me again, unless they wanted some legal action brought against them. Shut them up rather quickly and then heard a click and silence.
No, I'm not going to give you my full name until I know that you are not trying to mess with me our my computer either. I knew something was not right when I got the phone call. The guy on the line said his name was Max, which is interesting since the last name on this post is Max. Of course I didn't see this post until now, but he didn't sound like someone who would be named Max. I could not understand most of what he was saying. He only spoke clear english when he wanted me to understand what he was saying, like that I needed to get on my computer because I was doing something that was messing up the system, or that I have a very sweet voice & how old was I? I replied that , NO, there was NO WAY my voice was sweet and my age is NONE of your business. I kept trying to get info from him. He kept saying he was calling from the "windows tech dept". I kept saying that he therefore represented "Microsoft". He Kept saying "no" he only represnts "Windows" But he did say he was in Texas, and he finanally gave me this phone# 210-757-0606, which got me to this site.
