I have had it with these people!!
The number shows up as a blocked number, and he claims to be Tom Brown from some sort of law firm (I can never get the exact name due to the guy's thick Indian accent, and the name changes) and that they are suing my social security numnber because of a $5000 (amount varies) payday loan. I have NEVER got a payday loan, and none have been taken out in my name (I have a fraud alert on my credit reports, and nothing has shown up yet). I have also not received any paperwork saying that I was being sued. I told them that, but they continue to call me and my place of work telling me that they're coming to throw me in jail. They have also stated that the call is their "legal notice" and they need no paperwork (yeah right). I have filed a report on this number with the FTC, but they call from different numbers. The only thing I can suggest is keep hanging up or don't answer when they call. I'm also going to report them to the FCC and the local police. It's getting absolutely ridiculous!!!
I got a call from these people and they are very co-oprative they help me regarding my case and I got all documents when I paid in full according to their commitment they send me the documents within 7 working days.........

Dont listen or pay them. They threaten to take you to jail and all kinds of stuff. I had a guy just the other day threaten to break into my house. LOL Stacey If I was u I wouldnt pay or verify any info with them. they arent following the fair debit collection act.

Thank you very much for that input-I totally agree with the action you took and will do the same! This the 2nd time they have been harassing me stating I took a loan out and owe them money. I never took any loan. They have called me with an American name ie: John Mar and Sam Brown, but their accents are too thick to even begin to understand! Plus, they've called me from several different numbers. They are a SCAM and need to be stopped!!
