Pretrial Services called me about a $300 collection. She said if I didn't pay within the half hour she would turn it in to the bad check unit and I would have a warrant for my arrest and would have to spend 120 days in jail plus the fees which amounted to $1,000. I'm on social security and was will to make arrangements but she said no. I was never served with papers.
