Multiple calls and messages. States company is Cash Advance, and that I've been approved for a $3,000 loan. Other sites have indicated this company requests a fee before they will loan you the money. Scammers.
htey said a loan for 5000 with only an interest fee of 520. I asked them whey they needed an upfront fee of 180 and they said to verify bank. I knew it was a scam and then I said why would i pay 180 if im in need and then he told me to [***] off and started saying rude things to me.. lol
I applied for a loan online (only need $300 by tomorrow morning), and I received a call from Click N Loans (210-787-3534, Peter Watson - spoke broken English - First Flag), saying I had been pre-approved for a loan of $5000 at a repayment rate of $202 a month for 28 months, which is reasonable, HOWEVER, then he asked how I would like to receive the loan (direct deposit or pick up via Western Union / Money Gram - Second Flag), and then said that "...in order to process the loan for you and release the funds, we need to see that you can make the payment and be sure that you are financially stable and not entirely dependent upon the funds from this loan so, we need you to make a one time payment of $202 today that is refundable when you receive the loan..." (Third and Final Flag)
Hello - first, with a name like "Peter Watson", I would assume (if not erroneously), that he would speak better English. Second, I don't know of ANY legitimate financial organization that offers to send you funds via "Western Union" or "Money Gram". Third and finally, HELLO!! If I had $202 today, I wouldn't need the loan to start with and I wouldn't pay ANYONE in advance if I'm taking on a financial obligation and promising to make monthly payments.

Now for the really bad news. The online payday lender's sites are all run by criminals. They will harvest your information and you will now not only receive calls telling you that you have qualified for a loan and all you have to do pay an "upfront fee" (which is illegal in every state), but they will then try to call you to collect on nonexistent payday loans. The interest rates and fees for those types of loans are horrendous and should be outlawed in every state.
