I received the same message, and it sounded like a real person yelling into the phone and threatening me with legal action. Lots of scammers are fairly sophisticated, but this one is not.

Thank you, same problem and yes good advice.  IRS WILL NOT ASK FOR YOUR SS# or personal information by phone.  IRS does not call you they mail you or in person.

The IRS will send out a letter.
