A person identified herself as Allison Hill and said she was looking for Kenneth A^&*SSS which is the same last name as me, but certainly no one that I know. Ms. Hill stated she was trying to contact Mr. A^&*$$$ because of a potential failure to appear case. I asked what her company's business and name was and she got very angry and hung up on me. I had some time to kill so I called back, and got another person who said his name was Walter Greer. He said he wasn't sure who Allison Hill was, but suggested she might be a "processor or server" on the legal side of their business. Maybe this is a debt collecting agency? I asked Walter for the name of the business and he told me "Green, Green and Associates" when I asked the nature of there business and why my phone number might be in their database, he too hung up on me. Since I love a good mystery, I called back one more time, got a person that wasn't easy to understand, seemed like she was intentionally talking soft and mumbling, so I asked her to speak up. She said that she realized that I called 3 times within 10 minutes and I was "interfering with commerce". I told her I wanted to talk with the highest ranking person in their company or that I would call my lawyer, and him all the information that I had just recorded, and what do you know, I was hung up on again for the third time.
I honestly have no idea what the company does, or why they may have my number, other than my surname is the same as someone they are trying to locate, and my home phone is listed publicly. If I had a little more time, I would have my brother, a very good lawyer for the state of TX, call and read someone the riot act. However, having thought about it, this would be a colossal waste of his time. But you know ... it would be fun to hear someone on their end squirm on the phone, just a little ....
I think I might feel sorry for the people working for "Green, Green and Associates" because I can't believe anyone would work for such a company, unless they absolutely can do no better for themselves.
caller identifies himself as J.T.Thompson. States he is a process server and has to serve me the next day in my county. He the county name wrong. When I ask what it is about he gives me a number to call. That call is answered by Michael green & associates a debt collector. they have been in business aprox. a year and if you look them up they have numerous complaints about illegal collection activities. I have gone to my county court house they have no complaints on my name and state that it is illegal to use this tactic in most states including mine.
