Do not ignore this phone call. Your file is very important to us. You owe back taxes to the IRS! Geez I really hate that the elderly and less crime conscious public may fall for crap like this.
Received a call at 3 PM today. Wasn't able to get to the phone in time, so they left a recorded message, saying "the reason for this call is to inform you that the IRS has filed a lawsuit against you."
They then instructed us to call them back right away. Still haven't stopped laughing about it! Do people really fall for this crap?
