I received a voicemail from 210-888-8377 (Barry/Harry Foster), informing me that he had a very time sensitive call that he needed to speak to me about and if I did not return the call, he would wish me the best of luck. When I called back, he asked for my number and name - knew what town I lived in. He had a thick accent. He asked the name of my criminal attorney or if I had been contacted by the local police yet. I said no and he said he would read me my affidavit. At this point I started to look up the number online to see if it was a scam. Once I realized it was, I immediately hung up.
Got a call from this number. Caller ID said San Antonio Tx. They left message, guy was actually yelling into the phone, Said he was Officer Barry Foster and this message is extremely time sensitive, and if I don't call back bad things will unfold upon me.
Needless to say I haven't returned the call but would like to know what you folks think of this.
Got a call today 4/6/2015 from an "Officer Eric" same thing, indicating he was calling from the IRS, etc. Demanding immediate call back. Pretty sure when the IRS owes you money, they don't call you. Just saying
Got the same call today from IRS Officer Eric and needed to call or my lawyer or bad things would happen. Well needless to say called back and no answer..
An Officer Barry or Harry something - could barely make out his name due to the connection - called and left a voice mail stating that this was a " time sensitive " message and if we or our lawyer didn't respond or call back "good luck to us"! This is so annoying and disturbing. First of all we pay extra for having an unlisted number and we still receive unsolicited phone calls!
