Noticed it was from SA, and was waiting for a call from someone from there. When I answered, it beeped. Then a robotic voice said "Hello", and when I said hello for the 2nd time, it said "Hello, this is Sam calling about your auto insurance statement."
My auto insurance is not in my name, but my dad's. THIS IS OBVIOUSLY A SCAM.
Called me on Friday 9/5/2014 2:59 PM
I answer, long pause, ready to hangup then hear "Hi, this is Amy. I'm calling about your auto insurance. You could be over paying. Do you have a few minutes?"
Me "What company is this?"
Long pause....
Amy "National Auto Insurance Institute, we represent Farmers, Liberty Mutual "etc
Me "This isn't a real person is it"
Long pause, different sounding female voice "Yes, this a real person"
Me "OK, what day is it?"
Really long pause
Female voice " You could be over paying. Do you have a few minutes?"
Me "But, what day is it?"
Click, gone
Shouldn't stayed on so long but I was fascinated but what seems to a very cool bot, not a person.
Ignore the call unless you want mess with it.
