Called about vehicle warranty, asked for my deceased husband and said she was calling about his car. I told her he passed away two years ago, and the car was sold a few months later. Asked to be taken off of call list, and she hung up on me. I've been seeing this callerid a lot lately and not answering, but picked up today--if I get another call, I will pursue this with FTC.
Got several calls from this number this week. Today, I picked up the phone but no one answered after I said "Hello". Just a typical nuisance for the day.....

Auto warranty call scam - Live caller - When I asked the name of the company, he said National Dealer Services - or something to that effect. I told him that I had never done business with them and that my number had been on the national do not call list for years and, therefore, he was violating federal law by calling me. (They had information about a car that I had sold approx a year ago). Advised them that I would be filing a complaint with the FTC today, which I did - for whatever good it does. I think these car warranty scam companies are actually using the DNC phone list as their calling list. I wish the FTC would actually enforce the law. I get calls like this 2-3 times a week. Most of them the numbers are blocked.
Unsolicited call from National Dealer Services about a warranty for a vehicle I no longer have. Told him such, and asked to remove me from their list, at which he promptly hung up. Blocked the number. Seems like a resurgence of these nuisance calls lately.
