This is a frequent spammer on Craigslist. They will ask if still have so and so for sale. Will tell ya they will pay by certified bank check tell ya once deposited and cleared then will make arrangements for pickup/delivery. Asking for personal info. etc. Plus willing to pay extra for deleting post and for holding item. I know everyone knows these types but just wanted to get this number out and flowing around cyberspace. (210)908-7267
Thank guys for this info. I got a text from him. He claims his names is Richard. I felt it was a red flag when I informed him that I was going to see what's wrong exactly with the car I was selling so I wouldn't rip him off. He replied ok and asked for my mailing info again. It seemed pushy so that's when I looked up the number and found this. Thanks again.
He claims to be Richard, I'm selling furniture on craiglist and he says his going to buy it. He asked me for my bank account number so he can deposit the money of my furniture. I messege him my account number of my bank is that bad?
Yes, it is very bad. Call your bank's 24/7 contact number now and tell them you suspect someone is going to try and fraudulently take money from your account. Tell them to freeze all withdrawals until you can get to the bank tomorrow and close the account and open a new one. Just hope he has not already stolen all your money.
