He is advertising a home in Springfield, MA for $550, he gets you hooked, and then wants you to send a deposit of $700 and it has to be sent money gram or western union. He refuses to tell me where he lives, and why his house is currently vacant. Its a scam!!!;
This person had an add on zillow for a home for rent in Cody wyoming and has an email account something to the affect of hhhhhhgggggssshdhdhfh@ outlook.mail, I sent him an email inquiring about the property. This person played a god fearing christian family man, and a foreigner with broken english, its a good act...and asked me to fill out some BS application, he then texted me saying he and his wife approved my application.he then asked what i could put down as a deposit, the entire time he never introduced himself, he said he doesn't live in the area and wouldn't be able to meet in person but was willing to send the keys and an acceptance letter via fed ex after sending him the deposit of 600$ (disclaimer for young people who have never leased or rented a home, there must be a lease agreement signed by both parties and notarized by a 3rd party. very evasive and never answers questions directed to/ about him. and if i ever do find this guy ill arrange the meeting between him and the god he pretends to fear so much…
I also applied to a posting on Craigslist and the exact same thing happened to me. He sent me a pic a family that clearly was not him, and my husband caught on and said that he was too willing to lower the rent to our price range and things just weren't adding up. He kept telling me to send him the money to send the package. I am so glad that i did not fall for this. When i went and looked at the property i went over and talked to the neighbor and he informed me that there was someone living there but they had not been there in a very long time. But it was the same guy he was definitely a foreigner and had very bad broken english......
