This is a scam fund raising for the Fraternal Order Of Police.  Trouble is, no legitimate police department has any association with such a group.  Block this number.  Do not be scammed.

thanks for the reports - caller ID reads "Out of area" - just called here and hung up before the answering machine answered - now blocked!

Thanks for the ID as the FoP scammers, folks. Very helpful. Mine had no CID, just a long V# where the name usually is. You'd think legit police organizations would go after these shady fund raising "charities" hard since they promote such ill will against them.

Cal came in at 957A CST. Caller ID showed "Unknown Name" and they left no message. We never answer these calls since most are bogus, scammers, telemarketers.....
