Everyone should contact their elected officials (senators and congressmen) and insist that they put some teeth into the prosecution of violators of the FTC Do Not Call Registry.
Got a call from this number today at 1:39 p.m. and a woman with an Indian accent said she wanted to talk to me about lowering my interest rates. She seemed to be fishing for information, I told her I wasn't giving out info on the phone and hung up!
