Considering the only callers receiving this call are people in Tennessee, including myself at 12:42PM CDT, I think this person is in Tennessee, possibly phishing for information so they can rob us blind. I, too, chose to ignore this call, because legitimate callers don't have to hide their identity and I only have a few of them anyway.
I would also recommend reporting this call to the State of Tennessee Department of Consumer Protection, which I am going to do shortly.
Whoever it is, they have to be in Tennessee, because they're only calling Tennessee numbers. No matter what, NO ONE SHOULD BE CALLING ANYONE BEFORE 10:00 AM, unless it's family or an emergency!
I just spoke with a person from this number. Wanted to reduce my credit card rates. I told him I did not qualify and to remove me from the list. He started a cursing rant telling me where to put my phone, I was old, I do not deserve respect, blah blah then told me to have a nice f***ing day and hung up on me! I am appalled and have no way to rectify this situation.
Well guess where I live. Called a couple of days ago. Caller ID says "Name Not Found". Didn't answer and they didn't leave a message. Nobody has a prefix of "000" so that's a tip off that it's not a legitimate call.
