Came up on my caller id as "Name Unavaibile" 212-000-4837, Don't know that name nor number, didn't answer. "Name Unavaibile" didn't leave a voice message. I am on the nationwide "Do Not Call List". If someone is trying to contact me froma a business atleast have the nevre to show the business name on Caller-ID. Beside this number I get others Toll Free Numbers which I don't picked up.
Calls from this number come at all hours. Most of the time I don't answer, but this time I did, it was a recording asking me to stay on the line if wanted to reduce credit card debt. I stayed on the line and when someone came on I asked her to remove my number from her call list. She said NO! and hung up. My number is also on the do not call list. What rcourse do we have with these unscrupulous people?
Received numerous calls from 212-000-4837. I have yet to answer when this number shows up. The "person" has not left a message. I did receive a phone call from "Private" earlier this week and found that it may be the same "person". It was a female recorded voice identifying themselves as someone from Credit Card Services and they were going to lower my interest rate. I hung up.
I did not answer. I know 212 is a New York #, and I was not expecting a call from there. Who has a 000 area code, anyway? I googled the number, and saw others who wrote they are trying to get peoples' credit card numbers. I thought my name was on a do not call list.
