received this call, again IT support, said i had errors on my pc. I questioned them further and told them I did not call support, he said I had a computer and they called me, so again I said i did not call support that they have wrong number. He said it was the right number and called me an idiot. I laughed at him and hung up. I build and support PCs, if there were issues, I think i would know and could fix them my self.
received a phishing call from this CRIMINAL ORGANIZATION seeking to fleece anyone who will let them. referred the call to FTC for prosecution. Suggest any other victims of harassment by these criminals do likewise with FTC to give them an indication of the magnitude of the criminal activity to which the public is subjected.
This call claimed to be from the IT department of Microsoft. They pointed out all the event errors and claimed I need to let someone fix them for me online. They wanted me to connect using join.me and then I hung up. They tried to convince me they were legitimate because they knew my name and address and had shown me all the errors on my machine. They said they could have already stolen information from my computer if they wanted me.
Received this call last night. "This is tech support. Your email is causing errors on the internet."....I responded with a what are you talking about. Thick accent. Got mad when when I kept asking him to repeat himself. I Hung up.
