They called back. Olympia Capital. John somebody. Said we spoke 9 months ago.
Told him I wasn't interested in investing, asked him to remove me from his list. I hung up. He called back, Said I must have him confused with someone else.
Just got a call from a John Eliese (spelling?) from Olympia. When I told him that my boss wasn't interested in taking his call, he got all arrogant with me...sputtering and saying things like "did you tell him who this is?" As IF my boss would know who the hell he is. This [***] has called on numerous past occasions...each time making up a different name. Same voice, same arrogant attitude.
My company has received NUMEROUS calls from this person. He continually calls asking to speak with the owner of the company as though they know each other. He, on one occasion, flat out lied and said that they DID know each other. I explained this to my boss and he took the call, but hung up within seconds. This morning he called and was EXCEPTIONALLY rude. When I refused to tell him my bosses schedule, he started pushing buttons in my ear and eventually hung up on me....I wonder, is there any way to protect businesses from harrassment? This is absurd!
Just got a call from John at Olympia asking for the President of our company. I asked what this was regarding and was our President expecting his call? John said "yes to discuss a financial arrangement". I told him he wasn't available and he said he would call back tomorrow.
