I received a call from this number at 8:30 a.m. in NYC. The idiot caller asked for the CEO of our company. I say that he's an idiot because most intelligent people know that CEO's are no where near the office at that early hour.
Has been trying numerous times to get to the president of our corporation and never understood until today that I needed a reference before passing the call. (He complied only because I told him the president was in the building, and I would try to get them connected). Identified himself as Ron Fisher from Olympia Group. Intervention was needed to stop his incoming calls. The president politely told him there was no interest in buying stocks or listening to his offers.
THIS NUMBER IS DEFINITELY ONE FOR OUR LIST OF PHONE NUMBERS TO BE BLOCKED!
Rec'd call from this number, read: Out of area. I have learned not to answer these....used IGNORE button and sent to VM....called 3 times within 2 minutes. Added them to my personal "ignore" list which is now up to 77 numbers! Thank Heavens for caller id and this website!
I too was called multiple times by Ron Fisher of Olympia Group. He never wants to leave his name or number and usually just says he'll call back and hangs up on me. I've tried many times to get him to say something and I finally had to get rude and say, "Look, I'm the gate keeper. If you ever want to talk with him you'll have to at the very least identify yourself." He finally gave me his name & company. Then when I asked what this was in reference to, he hung up. What a time waster!
Call their main number and ask for Compliance. Tell them to add you to their Do Not Call list.
If, after that, you're called again, go to www.finra.org and file a complaint.
