We received a call on 10/09/08 from "Tom Hales" who said he was with the State of Georgia. Upon further questioning he admitted he did not work for the State of Georgia but did work for the US Council of Mayors. He was selling business services.
We have received several of these types of calls in the last few months. The sales become very high pressure and offer to boost your profits (for a fee, of course). Hang up fast! These companies go by many different names (or change names) as people post complaints about them on the internet. Do not let them in your front door.
I received a call from this number asking for the owner of the company by name and stated that he was calling from The State of Illinois. Thought that it was funny seeing as how it came up a New York Call

Received a call from rude female named "Argia," who claimed that my boss was expecting her call. When asked what company she was with, she said that she wasn't with a company. She would not tell me what the call was regarding, and when I wouldn't put her through, she asked for my name in a threatening manner.
