Called my work, asked for owner, would not leave message. I'm pretty used to solicitor calls especially ones that come in with a "212" area code.My gut feeling tells me this number is also a solicitor, most likely for investments. If they call again, I'll try to get more info.
All of these spammers/scammers try to get through to my boss by calling him by a "nickname". This is cause for me to immediately know they are scammers because he never goes by a nickname. When I ask if I may take a messge, they always reply that they will try back later. Little do they know, they will never get past me but it's such an annoyance and such a waste of my time. I even had one guy tell me that he had just gotten disconnected in mid conversation. I told him that I knew that was a lie because my boss was on another line with someone else and was still talking.
Caller ID says "Joseph Gunner" called and asked for the business owner, who does not hold hours here, nor are they involved in the day to day. I informed him of this he said he'd try back and hung up. Called again two seconds later and hung up.
