Received a call from this number, I answered it only to realize that it was an automated attendant stating that there is no problem with my credit card at this time, but they can reduce it down to 6.5% and it's imperative that I take this offer now because this offer is about end. press 1 for customer service or 2 to cancel. I then hung up and put that number in my block call list
This is a phishing scam to steal your identity. I answered the call and a man said he was representing Capital One, Chase bank and several others and could lower my interest rate on my cards. He then asked me my account numbers, ss number and bank account number. I told him that I had to put him on hold to take another call. I used my work phone to call Capital One Bank and they said it was not them. When I returned to the call, he had hung up.
I also just received a call from this number on my cell phone and no message was left. (Plunk.... and added it to my phone contact list with a "silent" ringtone).
