CID said New York Call. Apparently this is yet another number used by the credit card scammers. This is the third call from them in less than 2 hours, all different numbers and names. I answer none of them.
Caller didn't leave a message and the caller id just said "New York". I ran 3 separate reverse traces and all 3 were blocked for a name of a person or business but all gave Verizon New York, Inc. as a service provider through a Landline but each trace gave a different location in Manhattan, NYC. This is definitely a scammer phishing for personal information and probably running some kind of con (i.e. Credit Card Scam). No legitimate business would ever hide their identity and location from the public by blocking it. Block this number and report it to the proper authorities. DO NOT CALL BACK FOR ANY REASON.
Received a call from this # at 9:06 a.m. EST. I answered and they hung up without saying a word. I only know 3 people who live in the NY area, and it definitely was none of them calling!
